The City of Koronadal Water District (CKWD) once again holds its Annual Year End Evaluation Activity on Dec.4, 2020. This is the time of the year to focus on its blessings, appreciate the special people, to give back the abundance it received and to make its staff feel like they are an integral part of the agency’s achievements. This is its way to show its employees that amidst the pandemic, the spirit of Christmas is still present. Whether the activity is a simple or a grand one it should be designed to remember the year’s accomplishments as well as the people who helped make those accomplishments possible. This year’s celebration is simpler and unique compare to that of the previous years as it is more cautious and safe.

Moreover this YEE activity aims to foster a greater sense of team spirit within the agency and for it to show appreciation to employees for their commitment and effort during the whole year, to motivate employees to work hard in the coming year, to promote the importance of management and employee’s contribution in the organization in general and to deepen one’s appreciation in the context of community service and outreach activities.

Meanwhile, part of this year’s YEE is the Face Mask and Face Shield Contest. CKWD Management believes that art can be a great way to release stress from work. CKWD Employees creatively showcased their best entry for the said contest. The following employees were the winners for this contest:

Consolation Prizes was also given to: Pearl Grace Fornales, Eduardo Panes Jr., Angelie Guadalupe, Mae Gantes, Genelyn Caballo, Liza Jane Simon, Mailene Umadhay.

CKWD, in line with this year’s YEE celebration, also conducted an Outreach Program on December 11, 2020 within the community of Casa Subdivision. Food were given to children in the nearby households.

Ending the year 2020 gave us different life lessons and realizations. It has been a challenging year for every individual and affected various industries. But this doesn’t stop us in CKWD to face the next year with resilience, courage and optimism. The CKWD guarantees to provide the public with its services and commits to continue in reaching out further community in the year 2021.

Let’s all bid goodbye to 2020 and Welcome 2021!
